Besides heading the Sheldon Theatre Program, Nancy is also Sheldon's Choir Director. This is her 29th year at Sheldon, and she is looking forward to retirement after this year! Nancy has enjoyed acting with local community theater companies (Cottage Theater and ACE) and was resident choreographer and bit player for the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, an equity company, for three years. Nancy holds degrees in Music Education, Dance and Teaching.
This is Lorien's 7th season with Sheldon Theatre, and we are so fortunate to have her working with us! She holds a B.A. in Technical Theater from the University of Houston. She spent a summer working for the Utah Shakespeare Festival's Anes Theatre as Assistant Crafts Supervisor/Wardrobe Supervisor. In Eugene, she helps costume Eugene Opera and Shakespeare in the Park productions. In her spare time Lorien works with Distopia Rising: Oregon, a post apocalyptic zombie survival LARP run by her husband and friend.
Julie is Sheldon's Director of Bands, in her sixteenth year of teaching instrumental music. Prior to coming to Sheldon, she was Director of Bands at Santa Theresa High School in San Jose, CA, where she also conducted their musical theater pit orchestra and played piano and perussion for the many shows. Julie is a proud graduate of Willamette High School, the University of Oregon, and Northwestern University.
Craig returns to musical theater after a lengthy absence! He served as sound engineer for the Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera for eleven productions and over three hundred performances. Additionally he has worked a wide variety of jobs in the movie, television and music industries. Currently Craig is an engineer designing building automation systems that allow large chain stores to save energy by monitoring and controlling their locations from the corporate office. He is excited to working with such a talented group.
